* Planning Board Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7:30pm at Town Hall.
Office will be open on those days from 1:30pm - 7:30pm.
The 2nd, 4th and possibly the 5th Wednesdays of the month, the office will be open from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
The Planning Board acts within the limits of the Planning and Zoning regulations as stated in the Code of
the Town of Sand Lake and the laws of the State of New York. The duties are to review subdivisions and provide site
plan reviews of commercial development in the Town of Sand Lake, scenic preservation zone approvals (any improvements within
100 feet of any lake or stream within the town), property boundary line adjustment approvals and sign placement approvals.
The Planning Board also makes recommendations to the Zoning Board of Appeals for area and use variances and special exception
applications and makes recommendations to the Town Board on rezoning applications.
Note: Will provide applications for subdivisions, site plan reviews and scenic
preservation requests.
