The Towns of Sand Lake and Poestenkill proudly invite residents and visitors to join us for a once-in-a-generation celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.
This special community event will bring together neighbors, families, and local organizations for a full day of patriotism, history, and celebration across both towns.
Event Overview
This joint celebration honors the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence and reflects the strong partnership between our communities. The day will feature ceremonies, a parade, live music, food vendors, and a fireworks finale.

- Route begins at the Poestenkill Fire Department
- Travels along Main Street
