NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

 

(PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 506 AND 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor for the Town of Sand Lake, Rensselaer County, New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and a copy thereof has been filed with Barbara Hansen, Town Clerk, where it may be seen and examined by any person interested therein until the fourth Thursday in May.

 

The assessor will be in attendance with the roll at the Town of Sand Lake Town Hall located at 8428 NY 66, Sand Lake, NY on:

 

Tuesday, May 7^th, 2024 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 11^th, 2024 by appointment, Tuesday, May 14^th, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Thursday, May 16^th, 2024 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

 

The Board of Assessment Review will meet from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 30^th, in said Town of Sand Lake to hear complaints in relation to assessments of real property.

A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the assessor’s office.
